Bus driver says What?

Today, on my way to work I felt like crap, it was hot and I was sweaty and in heels...Not a good combination. So there I was, sitting at the bus stop, hot and sweaty and in heels.

Another reason why I felt bad is because of the horrid diseases that just had to pick my body, perhaps it was the tantalizing charm of my skin, or the irresistable musk of my fingernails. Or the soft cushy interior of my blood cells.

It was a typical day at the bus-stop, a guy beside me was reading some sort of book, he was wearing glasses, my guess is that he wanted to look super duper awesome. Almost made me want a pair of my own.

I sat there, staring at the cars go by, wondering what it would be like to sit in their air conditioned goodness, unless of course they didn't have air conditioning and was wearing a skirt sitting atop a leather seat. That would have been rather uncomfortable. I imagined someone having to deal with jus that, and it made me feel better about sitting in the cool breeze, despite the Sun's devil rays.

One bus passed, then two then three.

Finally my bus came along, I picked up my cooler back with a spare pair of shoes and a top, with some water and a bunch of paper, lets see my handy dandy bag also contained some not so handy dandy medication, an old broken watch, three pens (I told ya you need to keep a supply) a set of keys, two wallets, a napkin, a KFC nutrition guide, a hat and some biscuits.

I raised my head to be greeted by an old man bus driver, you never really see many youngin's driving buses, I deduce that there is a whole conspiracy going on, a conspiracy involving bus drivers and world domination.

I think, this man is the MOST friendliest bus driver I have ever met, he greeted me with a very enthusiastic wave of his hand, "GOOD MORNING DARLING!" He cried, I gave him a slight nod and a small smile, masking the immense pain I felt. I said a hello and wished his day well.

He gave a slight frown before commenting, "Don't look so sad, c'mon lassie, smile." I tried to do so again before commenting that I was in acute pain. In turn he turned around and said "Single trip Connsession? That'll be fifty dollars! well not really but imagine if it was! I'd be rich!" I laughed and went to get on the bus. He stopped me and eyed off my french vanilla cappuccino milk. "Where's my chocolate?"

I so totally pulled out a small chocolate from my bag and gave it to him, he looked genuinely surprised. I love making people happy.

It was like that for most everyone who jumped on or even off the bus, he gave them a friendly wave and a bidding of good fortune.

This one guy, and his simple smile, his positive outlook really made my day. They say a smile goes a really long way and I would definately have to agree, just imagine, each and every person who got on that bus would have been greeted with a warm friendly smile, from an old man, a total stranger who was genuinely happy to be there.

I wish the world was filled with more of these people.

On another note, my two good friends Luke and Sammy are now engaged, best wishes to you both~ <3 May you be the envy of all your gay friends.

Yes, Luke and Sammy are gay, I don't judge them, I love them both and think it wonderful that they can express their love in such a way.
