Pirates, Kitties and Dreams Oh my!

Righteo.

Last night/yesterday I decided to go visit my dearest Friend;
'Straight Luke'

He has a bit of a cold and I just got over one and the one thing I wanted was some sort of company aside from the illuminating glow of my laptop. Yes the people I talk to online are all great friends of mine but they lack that sort of physical connection.

So I ventured off sporting a brightly pink striped box of goodies for my good friend. (left me poor it did!) Now I can prattle on about what this glorious box contained but I will leave that to your imaginations, unless of course curiosity gets the better of you, then you can always ask~

Anyway whist there I kept him company and ended up watching 'Journey to the Center of the Earth."

it was in 3D Pictures, Images and Photos

Now I had my 3D glasses from my previous adventure to go see Coraline, but alas, these did not work whilst trying to watch the movie. So I was doomed to wear the little cardboard cutouts that were given to you with the DVD.

The movie itself was fairly good, despite the low qaulity 3D part of it, a suggestion, keep the 3D movies in the cinema. They just don;t work right in your abode. There were also an incredible amount of cliche lines in it, and as most movies do, it defied simple logic. Overall, an entertaining watch.

Now, onto the namesake of my journal, I tend to leave these last, for no particular reason in general. Perhaps its just that I get sidetracked and babble drivel about nothingness.

Last night I had a very strange dream, it began with me at an anime convention cosplaying as Rinoa, which I have done before. During the convention a witch came and turned everyone into what they were cosplaying as. I was lucky, I ended up becoming a powerful sorceress. Casting haste and blizziga left and right, and the occasional Firaga to the center.

Now this dream continued to the point where I went to my old school and my friend 'Gay Luke' had stolen my kitties and taken them to class. I managed to steal away Poptart. But before I had time to breathe the school began to get flooded. Why you ask? Because Time traveling pirates needed me and my powers to do something. Gosh knows what. Yet they seemed ok so I went along with them. There were a few generic types on the ship. You had your typical drunk fat ones in the galley drinkin' their brewskies, the flamboyant gay Johhny Depp types swinging from the sails and the run of the mill muscle men working on deck.

I was at a loss, the captain. Whom was named Orag. He sported a parrot on his shoulder and mentioned that I had 'Style' since I had Poptart on my shoulder. Oh and now Poptart and I magically shared a mental psychic link of sorts and were able to communicate telepathically. Poptart killed Orag's bird. I became the new captain and we ventured off to Never Never land to show those sissy pirates how its really done!

In the end I somehow managed to dream that I was eating a giant green bucket full of Trifle, a tasty treat that Luke's mum had made and I had eaten before sleeping.

Some other things happened and I think I stopped a evil sentient being from coming through a torn rift between our worlds. How did I do this? I don't know I think I made a deal and offered it/him/whatever the rest of my trifle if it left us alone for the next billion years.

The end.

Updates and stuff

Ok, so two blogs in one day, Giggity.

Now not many of you may have noticed but I have been sitting here for the past three or four hours trying to get my blog looking a bit better, I've sat here a fiddlin' and a fuddlin' refreshing and refreshin as I attempted to see the new blog themes and settings.

I think I went through about 20 different themes and variations till I sat on this one, and I am still working on it too. So don't mind the mixy match up of this blog for now.

I got to fix the subscription and RSS feeds, I also need to fix the top part, the squares are meant to flow nicely but they don't. Ugh HTML you and I could never have a deep and meaningful relationship. For you are too complicated and needy, I am simple. Thus, we broke up.

Anyway...

I guess I should talk a bit about my advanced movie screening that I saw on the weekend with my little sister Katie, Coraline. I bought munchies... SIX BUCKS for ONE BAG of malteasers

MALTEASERS....SIX BUCKS

Movie theatres, they get the majority of their money from their food, too bad the screening was too early for any shops to be open. Could have saved myself a good $4. I got to go with my good friend Olli, I love ya Olli.

Now, back to the movie, Coraline. The screening was in 3D and I was very impressed, perhaps it had something to do with the fact that I hadn't seen a 3D movie for a good five years.

Now I hear that Coraline was based off of a book, but I have yet to read it so I can't really compare the two.

Coraline I Pictures, Images and Photos

I liked the movie, Although I don't recommended i for young kids, since it does have a few 'horror' elements. Then again it was based off of a horror novel so you have to expect that. The songs that were played during Coraline were absolutely enchanting, mystical with an innocent melody. That's the sort of thing a lot of movies are missing these days, good soundtracks.

The 'alternate world' Was incredibly bright and appealing, and the 3D only enhanced this effect. I did expect a little more depth from the movie but overall it was a good experience, I got to spend the day with my little sister, who I usually enjoy hanging out with.

All in all, bare with the weird updates and such as I attempt to get this theme workin~
